Q: How many estimates do I really need?

    A:
Only one, if you are comfortable that your (licensed & insured) remodeling contractor will get the job done to your satisfaction and your budget. Trust is very important in choosing a construction company! One of the biggest myths today in remodeling is that you need three estimates. Find a licensed, insured contractor you can build a relationship with.

Q: Do I really need to permit my project?

A: Absolutely! Permitting makes sure your project is being built to State & National Building Codes. City and county inspections could be viewed as an insurance policy. Inspections of the work performed insure that the project is being built for your safety.

Q: Why should I remodel my home?

A: As property values multiply, millions of homeowners are remodeling to protect their investment while improving their space, upgrading laminate counter tops to granite and turning their bathrooms into spas.

Q: Could home improvements increase the value of my home?

A: A nationwide statistical study released in May adds further weight to existing evidence about the correlation between certain house components and the price of the home.

Q: How long does it take to remodel a kitchen (on an average)?

A: Usually it takes 2 to 3 weeks dependent on kitchen size and details involved in the project. The first step is to take measurements. After layout approval we move on with the process. Caution: Building custom cabinets can take 4 to 8 weeks (depending on the size & amount of detail in the kitchen), we then install your cabinets, floors, counter tops, plumbing, electrical, fixtures, tile, etc...  Click for more information!

Q: What is the first step to building a room addition?

A: The blue print. Our design team can provide a blue print for your project. Should you prefer to work with your own architect, that's also a possibility. We will cooperate with your architect from the beginning of your concept to the end of the remodel.

Q: Do we need to leave our home during the remodeling job?

A: Not necessarily! Actually, most of our customers stay at home during the project. We try our best not to disturb your natural home routine.

Q: Are you licensed, EPA certified and insured in the State of Maryland?

A: Absolutely! We are licensed (MHIC# 85150), EPA certified and insured in the State of Maryland. You can trust that we have the experience and integrity you are looking for. It's important to employ an insured, licensed contractor who has a Maryland Home Improvement contractor license that will protect you, as a home owner.

Q: Where is your office located?

A: We are located in Pasadena, Maryland (Anne Arundel County).

Q: Do you have any references?

A: Absolutely! For written references please contact our office and ask for a reference in your area.

Q: Can you help us with blue prints?

A: Yes. Our design team will meet with you on site, (taking the time to listen to your needs/goals) and create a blueprint layout for you or utilize blueprints you supply.

Q: Do we have to get involved with the city/county for permits or will you provide them?

A: Complete Contracting of Maryland can obtain all relevant permits as part of our service. Your assigned Project Manager will physically go to the City/County, working with the different departments and inspectors to obtain your permit.

Q: Does the entire job include electrical, plumbing, etc... or do I need to find separate contractors on my own?

A: Yes. Complete Contracting of Maryland provides full service for all your home improvement and home renovation needs.
